Nothing's better than sittin' around a campfire, singin' songs, and eatin' delicious s'mores! That's what we did this past weekend! We drove up to the Cedar Canyon Mountains for a little camping trip and we had a blast! The weather was perfect (although a chilly 40 degrees at night), the scenery was gorgeous, and the company was the best! The next day we went on a hike to Cascade Falls and we even saw some deer!
That looks fun. We've never attempted a family camping trip...for several reasons. 1) Natalie is maybe still too young?? 2) I have no guitar skills and you can only watch the fire for so long. 3) The last time we attempted a camping (backpacking) trip it was in Lake Tahoe and we wound up in a hotel on the lake.
I'm thinking I'll take Nat to the sassy-saughter next year. That's pretty tame.
OOPS! I just read my last comment AFTER I hit "publish." S and D are adjacent on the keyboard, obviously, and my saturday early a.m. proofreading is less than awesome.
I love Cedar Mountain, and Cascade falls are so fun to hike to. Of course I've never done it with little ones. Its been a long time since I've been up there, now I'm gonna have to talk to hubby into at least a day drive up there :)
We have been married for seven years and we fall more in love each day. We feel so blessed to have a great relationship and to have three beautiful children.
Our Wedding Day
Brenna
Brenna is six years old and is our little diva! She loves to read, dance, and sing! She is obsessed with kitties, horses, and unicorns. She is loving kindergarten!
Ethan
Ethan is four years old and is 100% boy! He thinks he is Spiderman and climbs and jumps off everything! He is the most loving boy and gives me a hug and says, "I love you mommy" everyday.
Eva
Eva is 18 months! Nursery, here we come!!! She is a sweet baby but she sure knows how to make a mess!
Belle
Our family wouldn't be complete without our little ShihTzu, Belle. She is seriously the best dog with kids....patient and very mild-tempered. She puts up with alot!
I love my kids!
Brenna & Ethan are so excited to have a little sister!

You are so much braver than I. I am not a fan of camping with babies. It sure looks fun though. Especially the s'mores!!
Amen to the brave comment. I love camping, but we haven't done it yet because I'm not ready to do it with a baby. Looks like a lot of fun!
That place looks so cool! The boys were looking at these pictures and they are ready to camp there!
